i was greeted with a friendly welcome (everyone was nice!). the room, named the stables, was quiet. the pub and restaurant served really good meals. i enjoyed my stay.

my room felt dated and basic. the blinds were not long enough, so light seeped in. the stairs were steep, leading up to the rooms.

The cocktails were not good. Staff did not seem interested in providing service. The drinks and food were overpriced, and the service felt poor. I have been coming here for years and spent a lot each time. I do not plan to return soon after my visit.
